Can you talk for 2 minutes about your favourite chocolate bar?

Your child almost certainly knows what their favourite chocolate bar is, but getting them to try and talk about it continuously for 2 minutes will help them develop some really important life skills. Having to think of ways to extend out their initial thoughts into a longer discussion will help your child think on their feet, develop verbal fluency, and learn howto approach the same topic from different angles. Speaking out loud while structuring your thoughts at the same time is a vital talent for many different situations in school and working life.

It's a fun alternative to 'I spy' on car journeys, and you can alternate between passengers and topics to see who can speak for the longest time without running out of things to say.
